Our biggest environmental challenge is to find a balance between preservation and human activity. With some creativity and a full understanding of the systems at work, wetlands consultant Mindy Kayl believes we can simultaneously enjoy and steward our habitat.

Mindy focuses on three primary functions of wetlands – habitat,
stormwater atinuation and infiltration. In this way, she promotes healthy
animal populations from amphibians to birds while reducing erosion
and providing water filtration and aquifer recharge.
